Goodwill Will Soon Break Ground On Six Acres In Mount Pleasant
The building was acquired Monday by Zilber Property Group and construction is set to start in the next few weeks.

MOUNT PLEASANT - After acquiring a 132,100 square-foot building on six acres Monday, Zilber Property Group announced plans to start construction on a Goodwill Industries manufacturing facility.
The expansion, which cost $8.58 million, comes after Goodwill announced its plans to expand in the state.
The facility at 1445 International Drive will employ 300 to 400 workers in manufacturing and assembly.

Zilber said construction could begin as early at late April and will be finished this fall in time for Goodwill's move from Sturtevant to Mount Pleasant, adding 50 to 100 more jobs at the new location. E-commerce jobs will be moved from Racine to the new Mount Pleasant facility.
