Highway KR Now Closed Until 2022
Highway KR is being rebuilt as part of the Foxconn Wisconn Valley development and will now be closed for about two years.

RACINE, WI — Motorists traveling in southern Racine County will have to find a new way around as the Wisconsin Department of Transportation embarks on a two-year project to reconstruct Highway KR — the road bordering southern Racine County and northern Kenosha County.
Highway KR was officially closed Tuesday as work begins on a 16.5 mile-stretch of multi-lane roadways in and around the Wisconn Valley Development.
As part of the construction, Highway KR, between County Highway H and Old Green Bay Road is being reconstructed.

Highway KR between County Highway H and Highway 31, is scheduled to close to traffic through fall 2022.
