Highway MM Will Now Be Done By Christmas, Officials Say
Bad weather and utility delays have slowed down the completion of the Highway MM construction project, officials said.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — Highway MM, the bumpy oft-used shortcut between Highway 31 and Highway 38, is currently little more than a one-lane driveway to the Meadowbrook Country Club lined by piles of concrete.
Highway MM closed in April as part of a full reconstruction project, as the intersection of Highway MM with Highway 38 and Old Mill Road is rebuilt and re-aligned.
Officials said at the time that the construction project is scheduled to last several months, with construction to be completed in November. Now that estimate has been pushed back to Dec. 22.

According to a Journal Times report, Edward Grasser, civil engineer with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, said bad weather and utility delays have pushed back the project.
