I-94 Lanes Closed Because Of Abandoned Car Fire Wednesday
When Deputies arrived on-scene, they reported finding an abandoned vehicle that was also running and had flames coming from the engine.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — Authorities in Racine County are searching for the driver of a vehicle that caught fire on the Highway 11 off-ramp on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Racine County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the I-94 off-ramp at Highway 11 at just after 1 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a traffic accident.
When Deputies arrived on-scene, they reported finding an abandoned vehicle that was also running, in-gear, and had flames coming from the engine compartment.

Deputies immediately extinguished the flames with a squad fire extinguisher and turned off the vehicle. The incident resulted in deputies shutting down two lanes of northbound traffic and one lane of southbound traffic for about 45 minutes.
Sheriff’s Deputies reported searching the area for the driver, however the driver could not be found.
