Man Died After Trying To Help Turtle Cross I-94: Report
Sheriff's officials in Racine County are telling motorists to take alternate routes Friday morning after a serious crash on I-94.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — Authorities are continuing to investigate a crash on I-94 in northern Racine County that happened Friday morning.
According to a WTMJ report, officials have now reopened the previously-closed lanes.
Authorities have yet to publicly issue a statement on the crash, though Fox 6 is reporting that a tow truck driver pulled over to the side of I-94 Friday morning to help a turtle cross the road when he was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes, authorities said.
Officials said the interstate needed to be shut down for several hours after the crash was reported just after 9 a.m. Friday
