Jansen and Johnson Win Sturtevant President Primary
Incumbent Village President Steve Jansen, Trustee John Johnson and former Trustee Daryl Lynaugh were running for a chance to advance to the April general election.

Sturtevant voters turned out at about the rate expected—11 percent—and voted incumbent Village President Steve Jansen and Trustee John Johnson to run for the village's top spot in the April 2 general election.
Former Trustee Daryl Lynaugh will not move on for this race, but he still has a chance to regain a seat on the board. Like Johnson, he turned in nomination papers for both village president and trustee.
Total voter turnout was 383, Village Clerk/Interim Administrator Mary Cole said.
