Kindergartners At Gifford Explore Empathy

Kindergarten students at Gifford School now have a new title, "Empathy Explorers."

Empathy Explorers is a new program being piloted with all Gifford kindergarten classes. Students participated in three 30-minute virtual classes in October and November.

Through the program, students build stronger empathy skills by learning about feelings identification in people and animals with the help of the Conservation Education Department of the Racine Zoo and many of their animal friends.
