Man Shot in the Head, Police Searching for Shooter
Mount Pleasant police are asking for the public's help finding the person or persons who shot a man Tuesday night through his front window.

Mount Pleasant police are searching for the person or persons responsible for shooting a man in the head late Tuesday night while he sat in his living room.
MPPD Sgt. Matthew Soens said officers and South Shore rescue were called to a home in the 3000 block of Carpenter at 11:57 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a gun shot wound. When they arrived, they discovered a 22-year-old male victim.
The man was still conscious and told police he was sitting in his living room when he was shot through his front window.
SSFD transported the man to Wheaton Franciscan St. Mary's where he was in stable condition.
Mount Pleasant police say this is an active and open investigation.
