A woman who used her own blood to write a message on her bathroom wall garnered the most reads and included a lively discussion in the comments about the need to address mental health issues.

Readers tuned into the sad news that a man died in the parking lot of the Knight's Inn early Tuesday morning. While we're still waiting for a final ruling on the cause of his death, Racine County Medical Examiner Tom Terry believes Michael Doberstein passed away from a heart attack.

Our first storm of the 2012-2013 winter certainly piqued our interest. With almost 300 days since the last measurable snowfall, we braced for the worst but ended up with mostly rain followed by a couple of inches of snow, and, it seemed, more ice than anything else.
