Miss Wisconsin Paula Kuiper Day Monday
Case High School grad and Mount Pleasant resident Paula Kuiper is also Miss Wisconsin. She heads for Miss America in the next few days.
Monday will officially be Miss Paula Kuiper Day because Kuiper - a Case High School grad and Mount Pleasant resident - is Miss Wisconsin and she is headed to the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City.
Racine County Executive Jim Ladwig and Mount Pleasant President Mark Gleason will officially make the proclamation Monday at the Mount Pleasant Village Board meeting.
Please note: the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. so residents can meet with Kuiper as well.
The 87th Miss America pageant is Sept. 15 in Atlantic City, NJ, and will air live on WISN 12.
