More Snow To Fall In Area Tonight: Report

Here's what to expect in the Milwaukee metro area and beyond as the storm approaches.

WISCONSIN -- Our area's wet beginning to Winter 2018 is upon us, and another round of snow will be falling overnight into Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS is reporting that snowfall of one-half inch to one inch may cause slick spots on untreated roads and walks for the Thursday morning commute.

National Weather Service estimates indicate that the snow should begin in the Waukesha area by 10 p.m. Wednesday and finish by 5 a.m.

In the Milwaukee area, the NWS says the snow should begin by 11 p.m. and end by 9 a.m.

At the same time, weather experts say this low-pressure weather system will cause temperatures to increase over the next few days.
