Mount Pleasant Hometown Hero Is Accomplished Seamstress

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Vicki Baclawski of Mount Pleasant, who nominated her daughter Sue Vogt, an accomplished seamstress who is making and donating hundreds of masks for people who need them.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:

Sue is one of the most giving people I know. As an accomplished seamstress, she wanted to give back the best way she knew how. Once she got started making masks, there was no stopping her! Last count was over 500...all given away to anyone who may have needed one!
