Mount Pleasant PD: Impaired Woman Crashes Car With 4 Kids Inside

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — A 28-year-old Racine woman came face-to-face with law enforcement after crashing her car with four kids inside Tuesday, according to the Mount Pleasant Police Department.

WDJT-TV reported that the accident happened on Spring Street, east of State Highway 31, after the woman crossed the center median while driving eastbound, striking a westbound vehicle.

According to police, the woman had been drinking. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

The driver was cited and released to a responsible party, the TV station reported.
