Mt Pleasant Police Want To Stuff the Squad Car

Racine Police Department and Mount Pleasant Police Department are joining together for a good cause.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI—On Saturday, December 19, from 8 a.m. until noon COP officers from Racine Police Department and Mount Pleasant Police Department are joining together with Piggly Wiggly to "Stuff The Squad" with food donations for the Racine County Food Bank.

Officers will be located at the following Piggly Wiggly Stores:

  • 5201 Washington Ave.
  • 5600 Spring St.
  • 3900 Erie St.

Currently, RCFB's four staff members, along with hundreds of volunteers, food collection, warehousing and distribution of over 1,000,000 pounds of food each year, according to the organization. The Food Bank serves as Racine County's "United Way of Food" and distributes food, free of charge to food pantries, emergency shelters, community meal sites and social service agencies throughout Racine County.
