Nutritional Designs & Pharmacy Finds New Home
The Mount Pleasant pharmacy will move just down the street to the old Johnson Bank building on the north side of Washington Avenue.

Nutritional Designs & Pharmacy has found a new location. Owners Sunday and Jody Muniz were forced to find a new home after Sentry announced last month that it would close on Jan. 11.
Sunday Muniz confirmed Thursday that they will move mid-January to the old Johnson Bank building at 5220 Washington Avenue.
"We are absolutely thrilled that we found this new space and it's so close because that was really important," she said.

Judy Maranger, a customer who follows Nutritional Designs on Facebook, is also happy the Munizes were able to find a location just a couple of blocks away.
"Very happy for you Sunday & Jody... you are the BEST. You've always been there for us, and we appreciate it more than you'll ever know. We will follow you wherever you go!" she posted on the pharmacy's Facebook page.

The plan is for ND&P to take half of the upstairs space and build it out to accommodate the pharmacy, a selection of natural health products and supplements and space to hold seminars and workshops. Muniz said they have a tentative timeline for moving in the middle of January with downtime expected to number hours instead of days.
"Oh, we can't have any real downtime with the pharmacy," she confirmed. "We have to be able to get prescriptions filled."
Customer Cindy Schultz is relieved the Munizes were able to find another location so close. She posted her thoughts on the ND&P Facebook page after their announcement about the new space.
"Nutritional Designs & Pharmacy is such an awewsome place. Sunday, Jody and the whole staff at N.D.& P. is so knowledgeable," she wrote. "They have available a large assortment of high quality supplements which are hard to find else where in town. I love attending the classes they offer, as they are so informative. I am so happy they can stay close by in Racine."
Since the pharmacy will only take about half the first floor, Muniz said she and Jody are networking to get a neighbor who also focuses on health and wellness.
"We're very excited about this new opportunity," she said. "There are a lot of possibilities."
