MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — The coronavirus public health emergency has claimed another seasonal tradition in Racine County after organizers say Pancake Day will be postponed until fall.

According to a Journal Times report, organizers say the 66th-annual event which is ordinarily scheduled for the beginning of May will be pushed back due to the state's "safer at home" order, which restricts public gatherings and non-essential travel in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.
