St. Catherine's improved their record to 8-3 and 5-1 in the Metro Classic Conference.

CALEDONIA, WI -- The St. Catherine's High School varsity boys basketball team used their size advantage and athleticism to defeat Prairie 81-46 Tuesday night at Prairie.
St. Catherine's improved their record to 8-3 and 5-1 in the Metro Classic Conference. Prairie falls to 6-4 and 3-2 in the MCC.
The Hawks hung with St. Catherine's early, trailing by only seven points midway through the first half. Powered by 20 points and 13 rebounds from senior center Quinn Cafferty, the Angels increased their lead to 40-25 over the Hawks by halftime.

In the second half, the Angels ran away with the game, often moving the ball up the floor ahead of their defenders for layups.
The Hawks were led by Konnor Kamm's 11 points. Isaiah Hoyt and Antuan Nesbitt assumed the primary ball handling duties for the Hawks, who were often bottled up by St. Catherine's trapping half-court defense.

Azarien Stephens chipped in 17 points for the Angels. Twelve Angels scored in Tuesday night's game.
