Although we often take it for granted, our hands are vital to our everyday activities including work, home, play, and ways to express ourselves. When an injury or chronic pain occurs, it can be devastating. To provide her patients with the best outcomes and quality services, Tracy has undergone extensive training in Hand Therapy, which includes treatment of the entire upper extremity (elbow, wrist, hand and fingers). Hand Therapy can greatly improve the quality of life for those who suffer from tendonitis, fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, ligament and tendon injuries/repairs, sports & industrial injuries, bites, burns, wounds, arthritis, post-surgical conditions, chronic pain, and swelling. Tracy’s goal for each of her patients is to return them to their previous level of function, or to find a way to adapt the activities that are most important to them if a full recovery is not possible.

Following the PTRS Kenosha philosophy, Tracy believes that her patients deserve the most dedicated, patient-focused, and hands-on care they deserve. “I really care about the patient as a person and offering them quality care. They should never feel like they are just a number,” continued Benson. In addition, Tracy enjoys educating her patients on their conditions, as well as how to avoid re-injury.
