Police: Man Stole from Co-Worker to Shop at Walmart
A Kenosha man faces 21 charges for allegedly stealing debit cards from a co-worker and using them to shop at Walmart.

Mount Pleasant police say a 33-year-old Kenosha man broke into a co-workers locker to steal his debit cards to buy hundreds of dollars worth of stuff from Walmart.
Sean Phillips was charged Monday in Racine County Circuit Court with a total of 21 charges:
- three felony counts of identity theft;
- two felony counts of forgery;
- one misdemeanor count of theft by acquisition of a credit card;
- one misdemeanor count of operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent; and
- 13 felony counts of bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, Mount Pleasant police were called to Graham Packaging, 7100 Durand Avenue, before dawn Friday for a theft report. When officers arrived, a man said his locker had been broken into and two credit/debit cards had been stolen. The man checked his bank records and discovered three separate purchases totaling $824.09 that had taken place just hours earlier.
During the course of their investigation, police say they discovered that Phillips was already in custody because MPPD responded earlier that same morning to Graham Packaging for another report of theft.
In short, the complaint details how Phillips was fired from his job and then broke into a co-workers locker and took his credit/debit cards as well as his car keys. Police say the man told them his car was not in the space where he'd originally parked it and the glove box appeared to have been rifled through because some CD's were missing. A witness confirmed he saw the man's car being driven into the lot and parked and that they saw Phillips near the vehicle before the defendant left and walked south toward Walmart.
Surveillance video from Walmart shows Phillips making the transactions and the clothes he was wearing the video is what he was wearing when he was booked into the Racine County Jail, the complaint reads.
Phillips remains in the Racine County Jail on a $2,000 cash bond. His next court date is Oct. 11.
