Primrose Retirement Community Breaks Ground, Open In 2014

Ground has officially been broken for a new, high-end retirement community in Mount Pleasant.

Officials from Primrose Retirement Communities joined Village President Mark Gleason and County Executive Jim Ladwig Tuesday for the ceremony at 1775 N. Newman Rd.

Once completed, the development will feature 84 units and amenities like a movie theater, a chapel, a wellness center and a pub.

The first residents will move in late summer or early fall of 2014.
