Racine Investigators Arrest Man From Deadly Shooting

The investigation is ongoing, and police are looking for anyone within the community with information.

RACINE COUNTY,WI—Racine Police announced they arrested a man in connection to a shooting earlier this month.

Police arrested Khalil E. Buckley, 23. They believed he shot and killed Marcus D. Caldwell Jr, 20.

The arrest comes amid a joint effort by the Racine Police Department, US Marshals and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives(ATF)-Milwaukee Field Office.

According to police, on October 17, 2020 at just before 8:00 p.m., the Racine Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Yout Street after a call about a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Caldwell, who was dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

As this is an active investigation, Racine investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime.
