Racine, Sturtevant Declare Snow Emergencies
This weekend's winter storm which is expected to deposit up to nine inches of snow in the area over the next two days.

RACINE COUNTY, WI -- The City of Racine and Village of Sturtevant have both declared Snow Emergencies in light of this weekend's winter storm which is expected to deposit up to nine inches of snow in the area over the next two days.
According to a letter issued by Racine Department of Public Works Commissioner Mark Yehlen, Racine will be under a snow emergency from midnight until noon on Saturday.
As a consequence of the emergency declaration, there will be no parking permitted on either side of the city's main roads, and all cars must be parked on the odd side of all local streets from midnight until noon on Saturday, Jan. 19.

The Village of Sturtevant has also declared a snow emergency. Sturtevant's declaration runs from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Saturday. During the snow emergency parking on village streets will not be allowed.

Western Wisconsin: A combination of Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories is in effect from 3 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.
Waukesha, Walworth and Jefferson Counties: A combination of Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories is in effect 6 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday.
Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha Counties: A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 6 p.m. Friday until midnight Sunday.
Ozaukee, Washington and Sheboygan Counties: A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday.
