Racine Woman Accused Of Stabbing Boyfriend In Back

Her boyfriend stated she also broke a beer bottle over his head during an argument.

RACINE, WI — A 29-year-old Racine woman was arrested on charges of domestic abuse-disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon Saturday after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend during an argument.

Police were called to the 3400 block of 10th Avenue by a witness who heard the couple arguing, ran upstairs, and found them fighting in the kitchen, according to a police report.

The victim, who lives in the residence with the suspect, Crystal L. Englis, of Racine, areportedly told police the two got into an argument when English came at him with a knife, cutting his face, stabbing him in the lower back, and hitting him over the head with a beer bottle.

English was not as cooperative with police. She reportedly told officers the two had simply gotten into an argument and, when asked about the knife, responded "What knife? Find the knife." Officers noticed cuts and bleeding on the victim and followed a trail of blood to the bedroom, where they found a bloody knife, according to the report.
