Racine Zoo Opening 2019 Summer Camp Registration Early
The Zoo will be offering a discount to those registering for camp by Feb. 20.

RACINE, WI -- The Racine Zoo is already preparing for another year of their hands-on summer camps. This popular program is attended by hundreds of students each year, and will run from June 17 – Aug. 16, 2019. For the first time, the Zoo will be offering a discount to those registering for camp by Feb. 20, 2019.
“As a nonprofit, it is always our goal to keep our camps affordable so we can reach as many
students as possible,” said Conservation Education Manager Aszya Summers. “We hope that
this discount makes camps affordable to more students than ever before.”
The Racine Zoo's Summer Camp offers additional before and after care for campers starting as
early as 7:30am and going until 6:00pm to make sure the camp is accessible to working
families. Summer Camp sessions are available to children three years of age to youngsters
entering the seventh grade in the fall of 2019.

Each year, Racine Zoo’s Summer Camp program hosts hundreds of children for hands-on
educational opportunities to learn about animals and conservation while playing games and
having fun. From story-time for preschool campers to our older Junior Zookeepers helping staff
care for the animals, each child leaves our camp with a deep love and respect for wildlife and
wild places.
Registrations are being accepted online at https://www.racinezoo.org/2019-zoo-summer-camp, via mail or email to education@racinezoo.org.
