Search Warrant Nets Over $75,000 in Marijuana
A Sturtevant man was arrested and faces a handful of felonies for allegedly harvesting marijuana.

Police on Wednesday arrested a Sturtevant man for allegedly harvesting more than $75,000 worth of marijuana at his home on 90th Street.
According to a press release from the Racine County Sheriff's Department, the Racine County Metro Drug Unit served a search warrant Wednesday morning at the home of Scott A. Keikhefer, 49. He was suspected of harvesting a number of marijuana plants from a nearby location.
When officers arrived - including a K-9 unit from Mount Pleasant - they searched Keikhefer's residence and reportedly recovered over 16 pounds of marijuana and six guns. Police say the drug haul has a street value of over $75,000.

Keikhefer has not been formally charged, but he was booked into the Racine County Jail and will probably face felony charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver while armed; keeper of a drug place; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
