Semi Crash On I-94 Creating Traffic Backups

RACINE COUNTY, WI — Traffic heading south on I-94 in northern Racine County is backing up after reports of a semi truck accident in one of the right lanes.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the accident is blocking the right lane near Highway K.

The accident is forcing motorists to filter into the two left lanes of traffic, according to Wisconsin Department of Transportation traffic camera live footage. The lack of safety shoulders on either side of this stretch of freeway means any work to tend to the accident scene must be in heavily-congested lanes of traffic.
