Sturtevant Adding Turn Lanes on 90th Street

Sturtevant trustees have given the go-ahead to village staff to pursue bids for turn lane striping on 90th Street.

Conversations with the county will also be part of the process since there are plans to widen Highway 11 at some point, and pricing through the county's highway department might be more reasonable than going with an outside vendor.

"I see more accidents and near accidents at that intersection than any other in the area," Trustee Gary Johnson said.
