The fiberglass steer who once welcomed diners to a restaurant in Milwaukee will now greet customers at The Summit restaurant in Mount Pleasant.

After weeks of anticipation, the Summit Steer has moooved home to pasture in front of The Summit Restaurant on Washington Avenue in Mount Pleasant.

to place the steer at the corner of Warwick Way and Highway 20.

Ellsworth is making changes to the menu and the interior of the restaurant, and he thought the steer could be a good marketing tool.

Patch asked him about a "Name the Summit Steer" contest, and at the time, Ellsworth said he might just go ahead with one.
