SweetEats Traditions: 'Worth the Cheat' Homemade Goodness

SweetTreats Traditions has been open in Regency Mall since Feb. 1, and owners Jennifer Tilot and Robyn Ferraton say they pay attention to presentation as well as taste.

"You eat with your eyes first," said Tilot. "So, we have to make sure the cupcakes look good before that first taste."

Ferraton nodded in agreement.

"We say it has to be worth the cheat," she added.

The best friends pride themselves on taking familiar flavors like malted milk ball, red velvet and banana cream pie and turning them into cupcakes that echo the original dessert.

As for why cupcakes are so big now, Tilot said you get big flavor in a personal size.
