Teen Sex, 244 Jobs in Sturtevant, Cherry Berry, 4-Car Accident

Good news on the jobs front - not to mention tasty frozen treats for free - certainly grabbed your attention last week.

After a week of vacation, you'd think it would be hard to dive back in, but no. The news was coming fast and furious last week so jumping right in was necessary and welcome. In addition to the good business news, other top headlines include teens having sex and then bragging about it; the arrival of bad weather and a chain-reaction accident.

We got some good news when Sturtevant announced Tuesday 244 new jobs are coming. By Friday, we found out will be that newest neighbor on Highway 11.

In other business news, Cherry Berry opened Thursday with a free treat-for-all. Every flavor of frozen yogurt and every topping were made available to the community.

Crime stories, of course, captured readers' attention. Tops of the list include a teen boy who bragged about his sexual relationship with a 14-year-old to her mom, an elderly woman who scalded her husband with water, driving erratically in front of Mount Pleasant Police leads to drug charges, and a man who allegedly beat up his wife's boyfriend.
