Top Stories in December: Fatal Fire, Teen Sex, Jobs, Blood

We're recapping the stop stories from the month of December. Crime and new jobs top the list, which is not much different from our stories-of-the-week wrap-ups.

Today is the last day of the last month of the year. So, to mark this marvelous Monday, we're going to wrap up the top stories of the month instead of just the top stories of the week.

Unfortunately, a terrible tragedy tops the list in December. Early Christmas morning, South Shore fire fighters discovered the body of a young adult woman in the charred remains of a home on 16th Street. As of Monday, the victim's body remained with the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's office and investigators were still trying to determine the young woman's identity.

Two cases of teenage sex take the second and third slots on the list. Number two involves a teenage boy who had sex with a young girl and then bragged about it to her mother. Number three on the list is about a teenage boy who had sex with two teen girls and gave both of them an STD.
