Traffic Shifts On Highway 11 As Foxconn Project Continues

RACINE COUNTY, WI — A busy stretch of Highway 11 was shifted Monday as Wisconsin Department of Transportation workers continue work around the Foxconn electronics plant that's under construction in the area.

According to the DOT: East and west traffic on Highway 11 was shifted to the newly-constructed west lanes as crews work to reconstruct the existing east lanes.

There will be construction flaggers on Highway 11 between Wisconsin Street and County Highway H from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will also be flaggers on County Highway H just south of Highway 11, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Detours

Motorists are encouraged to use Wisconsin Street, Highway 20, International Drive, Highway 11, Wisconn Valley Way, and Braun Road to get around the overnight closures.
