United Natural Foods Final Approval Expected Tuesday

Sturtevant Planning Commission members Thursday unanimously approved sending final construction as well as conditional use and sign permits to the Village Board for United Natural Foods, Inc. 

Company representative Dan Peckskamp made a final presentation to commission members and thanked the village's team - including Jenny Trick from Racine County Economic Development Corporation - for helping make the choice of settling in Sturtevant a relatively easy one.

The and is expected to open in 2014 with an expected 244 new jobs initially.
