Victim of Bicycle vs. Auto Accident Dies from Injuries

Ray Fleiss, the 88-year-old Mount Pleasant man injured on Oct. 8 in an accident, has passed away from his injuries.

Mount Pleasant Police Lietenant Scott Geyer said the department was notified at about 11:30 pm on Oct. 12 that Fleiss had died.

Fleiss has been in critical condition since he was struck by a car driving by Kristen Welch of Racine. She was driving west on Mariner as Fleiss was riding south on Sunnyslope. He was taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital.

The case has been forwarded to the Racine County Attorney's Office for review.
