MOUNT PLEASANT, WI— Village Hall will be closed beginning Monday, November 23 due to the surge in coronavirus cases.

Admittance is by appointment only.

The case rate in Racine County has grown exponentially since September, according Racine County.

Here’s a look at weekly positive case increases since September, as published in the Racine County JIC updates:

  • Sept. 28: +376

  • Oct. 12: +361
  • Oct. 19: +535
  • Oct. 26: +752
  • Nov. 2: +994
  • Nov. 9: +1,777
  • Nov. 16: +1,543

Death rate has also caused concern for county leaders. From September 14 through October 19, the county recorded a total of nine deaths in Racine County. But from October 26 through November 16, the county recorded a total of 38 deaths in Racine County.
