Waterford Upstart For 4K Students

The Waterford UPSTART program is for current 4K students who will enter kindergarten in the fall of 2021.

This free program helps families teach their child at home 15 minutes a day 5 days a week. Each family is provided personalized coaching support in their home language. Children who have gone through UPSTART come to kindergarten with all the skills necessary for the first day and even beyond!

Families can register at www.waterford.org/upstart/ or by calling 1-888-982-9898.

Please note that Waterford Upstart does not replace preschool nor is it an online school. Families that do not have a computer or internet may still participate. Waterford.org will provide a free computer and internet service to those without them. Children who successfully complete the program will get to keep their computers at the end of the program. This program is available to families who are eligible for free and reduced-price lunch, with 4-year-old children in our District.
