What a Difference Two Years Can Make
The site of Mount Pleasant's former Village Hall has been completely transformed into a bustling retail center.
What a difference two years makes.
In March 2011, Mount Pleasant Village Hall along with the police and fire headquarters were located at the corner of Highways 11 and 31. The next month, all village operations moved; administration and police to the Village Hall campus now at 8811 Campus Drive and South Shore Fire to the new Station 8 at Highway 31 and Biscayne Avenue.
By the end of 2011, new buildings were going up, including retail shops and a new building for Pick-n-Save.
