Winter Weather Blasts Wisconsin; Sunday Snowfall Totals
Here are the snowfall totals from Southeastern Wisconsin on Sunday. The good news is that the snow won't last long.
WISCONSIN -- It was that kind of day in Southeastern Wisconsin on Sunday as winter's wrath wreaked havoc one more time.
For many of us, the snow began to fall mid-morning as large, wet flakes fluttered endlessly to the ground forming packy, gloppy snowblower-clogging snow that left many residents questioning whether they were shoveling snow at all - much less scoops of slushy water. By nightfall, several communities saw several inches of snow. Union Grove got nine inches. Communities to the north such as Greendale and Greenfield saw only three.
The good news is that the snow won't last long. The National Weather service says sun and near-50-degree temperatures will be enough to knock a few inches off Sunday's snow.
