"The virus has begun cropping up in new places as it spreads across the country," the New York Times wrote. "To identify places that could flare up next, it’s helpful to look not just at the number of cases but how fast they are rising." The newspaper looked at the two most recent weeks' worth of data.
According to a Journal Times report, Racine County residents earned an "F" based on a social distancing scoreboard compiled by Unacast. According to the scoreboard, which relies on cell phone tracking data, county residents have only reduced their travel by less than 25 percent, have cut their nonessential visits by less than 55 percent and have cut their social encounters by less than 40 percent. That earned the county an "F" according to Uncast.
