Oregon may be a 12-seed in this year's tournament, but sporting a 23-12 regular-season record, and also an eight-game winning streak are two reasons why the Ducks are red-hot. The Ducks won the Pac-12 Tournament championship over Washington.

On Wisconsin

For Wisconsin, All-American Second-Team honoree Ethan Happ is a big reason the Badgers are in this year's tournament. The 6-foot-10 senior forward averages 17.5 points per game, 10.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.

Sophomore guards D'Mitrick Trice, who averages 11.7 points per game, is a 40 percent three-point shooter. Teammate Brad Davidson, also a sophomore guard, scores 10.7 points per game on 36.6 percent three-point shooting.

According to KenPom's analysis, the Badgers rank 333rd in the U.S. in adjusted tempo, making them glacially slow when compared with other teams when they have the ball. One of the team's biggest Achilles heels is their abysmal free-throw shooting. The Badgers hit 64.9 percent of their free throws. The prime suspect is - somewhat inexplicably - Happ, who hits 46.5 percent of this throws.
