Wisconsin Weather: Up To An Inch Of Rain Forecast Saturday

WISCONSIN -- The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for southeastern Wisconsin as nearly an inch of rain is expected to fall on the area, starting later this morning.

The National Weather Service says a brief period of snow or a rain/snow mix is likely today as precipitation moves into the area, before most of the region switches to all rain.

In addition to rain this morning, rain, with thunderstorms are also possible after 3 p.m. High near 40. Windy, with an east wind 20 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Rain and possibly a thunderstorm before midnight, then rain likely. Patchy fog before 1 a.m., then patchy fog after 3 a.m. Low around 38. Breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph becoming southwest 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
