Woman Charged After Confronting Ex at Xperience Fitness
Mount Pleasant police say a woman scorned decided to confront her ex while he was working out.

Mount Pleasant police say a woman angry that her ex-boyfriend might be seeing someone else confronted the man at Xperience Fitness, and they both ended up in jail.
Masharaya Bostick, 20, was charged Tuesday in Racine County Circuit Court with one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, domestic abuse. If convicted, she faces up to 90 days in jail and/or up to $1,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint, MPPD was called to Xperience Fitness, 5201 Washington Avenue, Monday for an assault in progress. When officers arrived, they found Bostick and a man talking near a vehicle.
Police separated the parties, and the man told officers that he and Bostick have a child together, but they are not a couple. Police say the man told them Bostick called him and when he told her he couldn't talk because he was working out, Bostick got angry and accused him of communicating with another woman on social media.
Bostick visited Xperience Fitness and pulled the man off the machine he was using, ripping his shirt and scratching his chest in the process. He claims he pushed Bostick to get her away from him but he never struck her, the complaint reads.
Because the man had traffic warrants, he was taken into custody, but police also informed him he would be charged with disorderly conduct, domestic abuse, the complaint reads. Bostick was taken into custody on the same charge.
Online court records only list that Bostick's complaint was filed, but there is not a record of a complaint filed against the man.
