Woman Rides on Car, Yelling That It's Being Stolen
Grand theft auto turns into reckless endangering safety and a third driving while suspended after police stop a man who drove a woman's car without permission.

Mount Pleasant police say a woman stayed on the hood of her car Friday night, yelling that it was being stolen while the man behind the wheel kept going.
According to a written statement from MPPD, officers responded at 11:02 p.m. to the 1300 block of Oakes Road for a report of a woman on the hood of a red car, yelling that it was being stolen. She stayed on the hood even as the driver - identified as Donta Parker, 32, of Milwaukee - drove north on Oakes and then turned west onto Washington Avenue.
The woman at some point was able to get off the hood of the car and walk back to the 1300 block of Oakes Road. She was not injured.

Police initiated a traffic stop in the 8100 block of Washington Avenue and took Parker into custody. He was booked into the Racine County Jail and will probably face charges of reckless endangering safety, resisting an officer, obstruction, and third offense driving while suspended.
Parker is being held on $5,400 bond and will likely have his initial appearance on Monday.
