
The Catholic Memorial High School girls soccer team is returning to the Division 2 WIAA State Tournament after defeating Grafton Saturday in a sectional final at Carroll University.
Carina Krausert scored the team's first goal in the 2-1 victory over Grafton, while Emily Cervantes knocked in the second for the undefeated Crusaders, according to WisSports.net.
Catholic Memorial, which has won eight state championships, will take on Ashland in a Division 2 semifinal game in the tournament at 3 p.m. Friday at the Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.
The winner of that game will play in the championship game at noon on Saturday.
