
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Waukesha County, including Muskego, from 3 am to 10 am Thurs., Feb. 10. Temperatures could hover around -10 and wind chills could bring temperatures down to -25.
Residents are urged to make sure fingers, toes, ears and noses are covered. These areas of the body are especially vulnerable to frostbite.
With temperatures and wind chills so dangerously low, parents should be sure kids are bundled up with mittens or gloves, sturdy boots, warm hats and scarves.
