Donald Yahr, Former Principal, Plan Commissioner, Dies at Age of 84
Former Muskego assistant principal and coach also loved sailing and served on the Plan Commission

According to his obituary in JS Online, Donald Yahr of Muskego loved sailing in addition to his service as a principal in Palmyra and Whitnall Schools.
The 84-year-old Muskego resident passed away on Nov. 2 from complications of Parkinson's Disease.
Yahr loved athletics and started the wrestling program at Muskego High School in the 1950s. He was head football coach and athletic director until the early 1970s, when he became assistant principal.

Yahr is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barb; his daughter Kathy; sons Jim and Steve; brother Richard Menning; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at Hartson Funeral Home in Hales Corners. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., when a memorial service begins. Memorials to the National Parkinson's Foundation are suggested.
