Future Business Leaders of America Attend State Leadership Conference

Muskego High School students competed in the Dells in various business events, bringing home knowledge, inspiration and a few awards along the way.

Muskego Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members traveled to Wisconsin Dells to compete at the State Leadership Conference. The conference started with getting motivated by listening to Albert Mensah, who was raised in Ghanna, Africa and now travels the world spreading words of inspiration and motivation.

The two day conference had workshops and tours for members to attend
to increase their business knowledge as well as compete in business events. While participating at the conference, students were able to raise money for the March of Dimes through a Miracle Minute, be motivated by hypnotist Jim Wand, earn recognition for their professional dress and network with chapters from throughout the state.

Cody Swendrowski, Desktop Application Programming, 1st Place

Cheyenne Mackai, Word Processing I, 3rd Place

Noah Jansen, Spreadsheet Applications, 3rd Place

Dan Miller, Social Media, 3rd Place

In addition MHS's Cheyenne Mackai was elected to serve as the Wisconsin FBLA State Reporter for the 2013-14 school year at the conference! In addition, students are looking forward to this year’s National Leadership Conference is being held in Anaheim, CA, on June 25 – 30.
