Happy Easter Muskego from the Lion's Club
Annual Easter Egg Hunt brings out the warmest temps of spring, as well as hundreds of candy-seeking kids in Muskego's Veterans Park, courtesy of the Lion's Club.
If you were to compare the weather from last year to this year for holding an Easter egg hunt, you might wrinkle your nose, but compared to what March has brought us this year, the 49th Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Muskego Lion's Club couldn't have been nicer.
Organizers once again strew about 400 pounds of candy throughout the woods at Veteran's Memorial Park to help fill the baskets for hundreds of kids, some of whom were just learning to walk.
For the time and effort Lion's volunteers put into the event, which included meeting the Easter Bunny, a bike raffle and lunch, it only took a few minutes for every last piece of candy to be picked up.
