It's Back: Jammin' on Janesville Returns Friday
Organizers say this year's event will be bigger than ever, with 13 bands and more than 45 activities planned.

Jammin' on Janesville is back. And, organizers say, bigger than ever.
Thirteen bands are booked and more than 45 activities planned for this year's Jammin’ on Janesville, which kicks off Friday.
Five corporate sponsors and 100 total business sponsors are also on board for the event, which features 27 items on the $1 food menu.
"We are thrilled at the level of enthusiasm for this year's Jammin' on Janesville," said Tina Weiss, executive director of the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce.
"Really, our event map has exploded with activities, dollar menu items, and live music venues. There really is something for everyone at Jammin' on Janesville 2013."
Jammin' on Janesville's mission is to showcase the city of Muskego and its businesses. It's hosted on Janesville Road the first Fridays of June (the 7th), July (the 5th) and August (the 2nd). Hours have been extended to 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on each of those dates due to popular demand.
Last year, about 5,000 people attended each month's event. Organizers expect that number to increase this year, with more business participation and an expanded marketing program.
Activities range from a free beer and wine tasting, to dunk tanks and bouncy houses, to live animals. Bands vary from rock to country. The event also has a lot to offer for churches, as this Muskego Patch user writes.
Corporate sponsors for this year's Jammin' on Janesville are ATI Physical Therapy, Lakeshore Medical Clinic, Muskego Patch, Safeway Pest Management, and Sandoval Dental Care. These sponsors, in addition to the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and city of Muskego, provide a majority of the funding for the event.
