Reminder: Commuters Need to Consider Alternative Routes
The Mitchell Interchange project is officially underway and will be closed through the end of the year.

Driving into downtown Milwaukee will require planning new routes now that the Mitchell Interchange project has begun.
Slated to last for at least 10 months - effectively until the end of the year - the I-894/43 eastbound lane connections to northbound I-94/43 will close so two tunnels can be constructed.
Muskego commuters are encouraged take I-43 east to I-894 north and then to eastbound I-94 into downtown. Drivers can also take I-894 to Loomis Road north, to Howard Avenue, and then back east to I-94/43 into downtown Milwaukee.
